I am releasing my Foundry VTT module: Performance Manager World Cleaner Compendium Sync.
This is a GM-focused performance, cleanup, and compendium maintenance tool designed to help stabilize active worlds, reduce clutter, and keep long-running campaigns easier to manage.

This module combines a background performance manager with a GM cleanup panel and compendium sync tools, giving you one central place to handle session optimization, world cleanup, and matching-name compendium updates.

What This Module Does

Performance Manager World Cleaner Compendium Sync is built for GMs who want smoother sessions, less world clutter, and a faster way to maintain unlocked compendium packs. It runs client-side optimization tools in the background while also giving the GM access to guarded cleanup and sync controls.

Background Performance Manager

The background manager is designed to reduce session strain while you play. It helps control common performance problems without forcing the GM to constantly stop the game and manually clean things up.

• Stabilizes FPS settings
• Stops stuck non-music audio loops
• Pauses off-screen video tiles to reduce load
• Trims the visible chat DOM
• Runs texture garbage collection
• Refreshes perception and vision safely
• Clears ghost rulers from offline or high-latency users

World Cleaner - GM Tool

The World Cleaner side gives the GM one place to purge common world clutter. These tools are intended for world maintenance, cleanup, and session stability.

Compendium Sync

The Compendium Sync tools push matching world entries into unlocked compendiums by name. This helps GMs keep world data aligned with existing compendium packs without manually updating every matching entry one at a time.

Actor Players are filtered to character, and Actor NPCs are filtered to npc. Sync targets unlocked compendiums only and updates matching entries by name.

⚙️ Installation

1. Open Foundry VTT
2. Go to Add-on Modules → Install Module
3. Search for Performance Manager World Cleaner Compendium Sync once approved, or paste the Manifest URL from the package page
4. Install and enable the module in your world
5. Open the included macro from the module compendium to launch the tool
