If you have an issue/problem when running midi-qol is is almost certainly a midi-qol issue. Do not raise a ticket on the dn5e github until you have verified that the issue is present without midi-qol installed. The dnd5e guys have more than enough work to do without diagnosing midi issues as well. Rather go to the midi discord or raise an issue on the midi-qol gitlab site.
Version 14.0.7 marked as v14 compatible. There have been several beta releases but v14 compatibility is still new so be cautious. Make note of the note to raise issues with midi-qol NOT dnd5e/foundry.
Midi-qol uses AI (Claude) to generate test cases, update documentation and code generation for bug fixes and occasionally refactoring.
Midi-qol provides combat automation with almost all features being optional.
There are lots of other features and you should read the readme for more information

Together with Dynamic Active Effects (from the same creator), this is my favorite module.
It’s hard not to agree, but there are SO many good modules available which makes it hard to know what is the “most favorite” of all favorites. But as you say, this one together with DAE is awesome.
