Like all gods, Bahamut can only be truly slain on his own celestial plane. Drawn together with the intent to topple Bahamut, the most powerful mortals of the era have joined forces to find a way to create a gateway to this plane. After unearthing forbidden incantations, locating the most ancient of Bahamut's temples, and amassing powerful artefacts to sustain the gateway long enough for safe passage, the ritual can begin. But Bahamut will not be taken by surprise in his Summer Fortress. He is very aware that there are forces scheming towards his downfall.
