Implements what I am calling the Hunger Beast Rule for Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition (wod5e system). As seen in Dimension 20: City Council of Darkness
When a vampire gets hungry, their beast can take over. On a beast driven roll, if the vampire's dice pool is less than their hunger, they roll dice equal to their full hunger instead. It then adds blood surge dice on top of that, because to my mind this keeps the ability to blood surge when hungry relevant
Configurable roll categories: physical attributes, combat skills (Brawl, Melee, Firearms, Athletics), pursuit & survival skills (Drive, Stealth, Survival), intimidation, or all skill rolls. Whether the Hunger Beast rule is being invoked is made clear in the roll dialog as well as in the chat, players can always override the number of dice in the roll dialog as usual.
The house rule itself originates from the VTM community forums, if anyone can attribute it to a single person, I will credit them here in future.
