Bytes AI Foundry generates D&D 5e items, NPCs, characters, and roll tables using your choice of AI provider. Describe what you want, preview it, tweak it, done.

It can use multiple AI models and providers — OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and Ollama (or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint). Image generation is built in too, through OpenAI, xAI, Stability AI, fal.ai, or a local Stable Diffusion server.

What it makes

• Items — weapons, armor, shields, spells, feats, consumables, tools, loot, containers, and backgrounds, with stats, effects, and artwork.
• NPCs — full stat blocks (CR 0–30) with abilities, actions, traits, spellcasting, and embedded weapons/spells/features.
• Characters — player characters with class, race, level, background, skills, equipment, and a portrait plus token.
• Roll tables — a table where every entry is a generated item, or a text-only table for encounters, loot, and rumors.

How it works

• Type a prompt, pick a type (or let it auto-detect), and generate.
• Preview before anything is created — edit the name, description, image, and stats, or regenerate any single part.
• Built for D&D 5e on Foundry VTT v12 through v14. Bring your own API key for whichever provider you want to use.

Notes

You supply your own API key, so you only pay for what you generate. Everything the AI makes is a starting point — review NPCs, characters, and items before using them at the table.
