Welcome to the official release of FXMaster V8! This release brings brand new handling for V14 Scene Levels, new Manage Layers functionality to order particle and filter effects, new macro API with improved flexibility, and more! Hope everyone enjoys!
Any support via the Patreon or Ko-fi is greatly appreciated! If you are a Patreon subscriber you will receive access to the FXMaster+ module. FXMaster+ is accessible via a Patreon subscription at the Queen of Hearts+ tiers, it's where I will be adding new particle effects and filters moving forward. For April, it will get you access to the Wind, Wind Wisps, Water (previewed below), Lightning Bolts, Fish, Glitch, Ice, Duststorm, Sandstorm, Ghosts, Sunlight, Magic Crystals, Fireflies, Sakura Bloom, and Sakura Blossoms effects.
FXMaster provides various types of effects:
Q: What is the difference between Particle Effects and Filter Effects?
A: Particle Effects are global effects that display particles on the whole scene. Mostly they are weather effects, but they also include animals and some other effects.
Filter Effects are filters that adjust the whole scene in some way, e.g. by adjusting the color or distorting the scene to look like it's underwater.
Q: Can I provide my own effects?
A: You can provide your own Particle Effects when using FXMaster+ in the Manage User Particle Effects menu. It's not possible to provide your own Filter Effects.
Detailed instructions on how to use FXMaster can be found in the README.

A handy module for anyone that likes a little bit of flash in their fights. It’s not over bearing, it’s easy to use and I am sure your players will enjoy.
I love this mod, but the sliders went away for me at the last update, am I doing something wrong?
Ever since a few updates ago the weather component is completely biffed and not functioning. Don’t think there’s an alternative weather module atm
The recent update (v2.0.0) should fix most of the issues. Please try it again. Sliders are back, too 😉
