This module uses access to the microphone to determine when the user is speaking and broadcasts that to all clients. All clients will show an indicator in the Player list showing that user as speaking and a green box will be shown around the token for that user's assigned character.
A hook 'changeSpeakingStatus' is also called on speaking status change to allow custom behavior to be defined.
This module does nothing with the audio except monitor the client's levels and display when it reaches the threshold defined in the settings.
It is intended to be used along with a voice chat software like Discord to visualize who is speaking within Foundry.
There may be some difference in the threshold set for the app and that of the voice chat software.
To install this package, open your Foundry Setup screen and navigate to your Module tab and click the Install Module button.
From there, you can either search for the package unique name: speaking-status or copy its manifest URL:
And paste it to the input box at the bottom of your window.

You can install this package directly to your Forge account.
