• Give preparation a purpose. Plan the route, select travelers, assign expedition roles, and review the supplies the party actually carries.
• Put choices into every travel day. Work through pace, weather, navigation, encounters, discoveries, and foraging with clear prompts and recorded results.
• Keep players involved. Request the relevant character rolls while leaving consequential decisions with the table.
• Carry the adventure into camp. Manage watches, shelter, supplies, and sleep checks instead of ending the journey at sunset.
