This module is free. Wanna do a cool thing?
https://github.com/mordachai/investigation-board/releases/download/v4.10.1/module.json
A Foundry VTT module that lets everyone create, edit, and move sticky and photo notes on the scene. A must-have for investigative games like City of Mist, Call of Cthulhu, and all your conspiracy adventures.
Now we have a button in the Drawing Tools that displays a panel where you can batch edit pins and yarn connections.
Wanna make your investigators feel they are in power? Let them stamp their notes! Right click >> Stamp >> Choose it. The stamp will appear below the cursor on the note.
Using the right click menu you can overlay some official looking stamp in Docs from Texts, Handout notes, Index Cards and even Photos. In game settings you can change the folder stamps so you can add your own. Use white .webp images with transparency so you can assign the colors in there too.
Media notes now supports video too! There are some video effects available, and you can select the format of your video fr better immersion: Flat screen 16:9, CRT 4:3 and even Mobile portrait. There is even a timestamp tool so you can add the when to the who and how of you mysteries!
My old high school principal, good times...
Now you can turn Journal Text pages in Doc Notes (A4 Format). Multiple pages are generated if the text is too long.
Double click the notes to see their closeup preview, you can edit their text directly on the panel.
In Game Settings >> Investigation Board you can check to display borders around selected notes (this makes the rotate gizmo appear) and activate the option to allow them to be scaled.
Just added a new scene to IB! Whether it's your detective desk at the precinct or the missing professor's desk at the university, you can watch the creation process here: https://youtu.be/ApPb84eDF4I
Added in the context menu of any note the option to hide/reveal the note for the players. Hidden notes appear with reduced opacity for GMs. This should help to prepare notes before hand. Connection stays visible all the time.
Added these two new fonts as options. Also fixed a bug that prevented fonts to load on systems that not have them installed locally.

Sticky notes now have color options. You can also choose the ink color for any note. Included options in game settings to let each player set their own default color set.
Journals, specially the ones containing adventures can be full of images. Now instead of just showing the pretty images to the players you can pass them around as handout notes.
If you Ctrl+C an area in your screen and Ctrl+V while in Drawing mode a note will appear. Even better, if you copy an image file in your file explorer and Control+V in canvas a note will be created with the correct transparency set if the image has transparency.
The module now automatically adapts to your map size. Whether you are on a small 1280px map or a massive 5000px scene, your notes, pins, and yarn connections will stay proportional. You can even set a global multiplier if you want them a bit larger or smaller on all maps.
Speed up your board building! While dragging a yarn connection (after clicking a pin):
We reach the peak: we are now able to create only pins and connections. Its practically Zen at this point.
You can now create photo notes from all items on a folder. It ignores subfolders, if you want to import a subfolder right-click on it and import. it works for Scenes, Actors, Items and Playlits.
You can now create photo notes from items too. They will be automatically linked to them.
Now you can activate a sound effect filter to make the audio even more immersive. This option is on by default in all Media notes created. Remember to edit and uncheck if you want the original audio.
Click on a pin, click on the other. That's it.
Connecting lines will always have the player's Foundry color initially. You can change it in the Edit menu.
REMEMBER: YOU NEED TO BE IN DRAW MODE TO MAKE ALL OF THIS
Open the Drawing Tools Toolbar in the scene controls. You will find several custom buttons to populate your board:
Don't have a scene? Don't worry, you can use this corkboard scene for starters. Import it in your level and knock yourself out!
You can quickly create notes directly from your Foundry sidebars by right-clicking documents:
Note for Players: If the GM has granted you drawing and file upload permissions, you can autonomously create Handout notes from Image Pages in the Journal directory to share evidence with the group!
