Have you ever wanted to know things like "How far can I move this turn? What enemies can I reach in the fewest actions? How can I best navigate difficult terrain?". This can be solved with ruler and templates but who has time for that! This module is the easy answer to these questions showing, via an overlay, which spaces can be reached taking into account walls and difficult terrain (requires a terrain layer) or, if you have targets, which spaces put you in range of them.
This is a fork of Nazrax's Combat Range Overlay which has been inactive since July 26 2021. I very much liked the concept so I have updated it for Foundry v10+ (to the best of my ability as I am a novice at JS). It has been fully tested on pf2e but should be compatible with pf1e, wfrp4e, swade, dnd3.5e and dnd5e.
I have also added the capability to auto-detect equipped weapon range for all weapon types in pf2e including holding multiple weapons. This won't work for spells or NPC actions which are not weapons although this can be accomplished by adding a dummy weapon with the correct range or using the override, accessible by shift-clicking the overlay control button with the token controlled. This will also work for pf1e, wfrp4e, swade, dnd3.5e and dnd5e to the best of my knowledge of the system.
All usage documentation is available in the readme credit to Nazrax.
This requires libWrapper and can use Enhanced Terrain Layer (not updated for v11) or Terrain Mapper (needs >= 0.3.0 for Pathfinder 2E ). Can use lib-ColorSettings or Color Picker to allow colour via a picker rather than hex codes.
