Against the Darkmaster is a tabletop Epic Fantasy roleplaying game of high adventure, heroic action, and heavy metal combat.

If you put together works like The Lord of the Rings and The Wheel of Time, sprinkled them with a bit of Labyrinth and Dragonslayer, and put everything in a blender together with a healthy dose of classic Heavy Metal, you will get a typical Against the Darkmaster game session.

Travel to distant lands, face terrible dangers, uncover ancient items of power, and gather the armies of the world to defeat the ultimate Evil.

This core content module extends the capabilities of the base system by providing you with:

• a completely redesigned theme
• a complete bestiary from the core rules built for the classic actor sheets
• new macros and RollTables to help you generate encounters or roll stats
• the entire core rules in JournalEntry format with many links to items to drag onto your actors or to Journals for further information
• updated Actor templates which take advantage of new features including pre-loaded conditions to allow easier access to them through macros
• a CharacterMancer JournalEntry that guides and aids you with character creation and takes advantage of the completely revised background items database to make it quicker and simpler to make your background option choices.
• complete and compacted skill descriptions and spell descriptions within a spell lore Journal
• compacted attack, critical strike and miscellaneous tables.
• finally, an Instructions Journal to lead to to and through the new features of the module and system.
