In a rural part of the world, draconic forces and their allies have seized an arcane library. These forces aim to wipe out all who trespass, but the characters must dig into the ice to discover the truth of what happened.

The Devil's Egg - level 16

Comfortably holed up in his fortress on a frozen plane of ice and sleet, the ice devil Himesh isn’t accustomed to unwanted visitors. An eccentric recluse, he enjoys collecting odd people and strange things, including a rare egg he recently acquired and regards as his most prized collector’s item. However, word has gotten out that the egg remains at his icy and uninviting fortress, reaching the ears of those who wish to rescue the unborn creature from the claws of a devil, as well as those who would seek to make an omelet for themselves.
