  • Title: Cliffside Monastery - Multi-Map Mystery & Horror Complex

  • Introduction: Uncover dark secrets within this expansive monastery complex clinging precariously to a sea cliff. Spanning multiple maps and levels, this location is ripe for mystery, exploration, ancient horrors, and deadly encounters.

  • Map Breakdown:

    • Main Monastery Map (2 Levels): Features the primary monastery grounds and upper floors, conveniently laid out side-by-side for easy navigation. Includes multiple pathways leading downwards.

    • Beneath the Monastery Map: Explore dusty basements, ancient armouries (remnants of a former castle), and secret chambers accessible via treacherous cliffside climbing (ideal for skill challenges). Contains a hidden stairway to the depths below.

    • Underdepths Map: Descend into a dangerous lower level featuring:

      • A defensible bridge over a chasm.

      • A hallway trap requiring a specific symbol sequence.

      • A fortified chamber with arrowslits.

      • A water trap-rigged corridor.

      • A final ritual chamber designed to challenge the party, potentially splitting them, featuring unholy circles, a dark ritual site, and thematic props like giant tentacles.

  • GM Tools & Technical Details:

    • Dynamic Macros:

      • Reveal the hidden stairway from the basement to the Underdepths.

      • Flood the precarious entrance causeway, trapping the party on the island.

      • Activate the water trap in the Underdepths (revealing an octopoid maw in the final chamber).

    • Replacement Tile: Includes an optional tile to remove the cannon from the tower for settings where it doesn't fit.

    • Easy Navigation: Teleporting regions facilitate smooth movement between monastery levels.

    • Atmospheric Elements: Features a slippery causeway, cliffside paths, and Cthulhu-inspired elements in the final chamber.

Suggested Uses: Mystery investigations, Cthulhu/horror campaigns, dungeon crawls, exploration-focused adventures, siege scenarios.
