Description
The colony ship that would eventually found the city of SEED was accompanied by many escort ships during its long journeyed. Maintenance craft, stalwart defenders and many other types of ships swarmed around the giant hulk as it made its way across the stars.
The Arboreal Outrider was one of the few long-distance scout ships that ventured ahead of the main fleet, gathering information on hazards and resources. Equipped with spectral engines, the scout ships were amongst the swiftest in the fleet.
Cryo-equivalent technology and self-sustaining food production, as long as a star was within range, allowed the Outrider to operate independently for many years without assistance.
When the city was founded, the crew of the Outrider chose to remain amongst the cosmos, returning on occasion with incredible stories and lucrative trade goods.
