Finally! The legend uncovered before you, and two gargantuan - yet silent - statues guard the entrance. They are still, their gaze empty, yet you feel their eyes follow your every move. From the belly of the gaping temple entrance, you hear the blood-freezing growl. Centuries of compressed stale air hit your lungs, kicking the air and leaving you breathless. A swarm of bird-sized insects flew over you into freedom. When you regained composure, you could swear the statues moved as their bases were a foot off toward you. This place should be left alone.
