The Galleon isn't actually a ship that made a lot of historical appearances in the Caribbean during the Golden Age of Piracy, but it makes very regular appearances in Pirate pop culture. The Black Pearl is kind of a galleon, ghost ships are often galleons, one of the three ships you can pilot in Sea of Thieves is a galleon… you get the idea. There is even a galleon suspended on top of the castle in The Curse of Skeleton Point, the adventure included in Pirate Borg. So you know I had to map it eventually!
I knew this ship would get a lot of action in campaigns, especially Dark Caribbean ones, so you’ll find 17 variations including 2 ghost ships, all five of the major factions, and a derelict ship. The Skeleton Point galleon is also included, run-through by a castle tower.
I've also made 12 PNG assets to customize your maps, and 20 tiles/tokens of the ship variations for naval combat.
This module uses the Multilevel Token to move the players between decks. As always, the lighting, walls, and sound effects are preset for you, ready to drop into your game session.
