Unofficial L5R 4th Edition System for Foundry VTT

Unofficial implementation of the Legend of the Five Rings 4th edition for Foundry VTT. Provides character sheets for pcs and npcs. Provides optional automation of most rolls and interactions and supports Active Effects to customize further automation. Provides a compendium for the core rules of L5R 4th edition (other books are WIP).

Features

• Trait rolls, ring rolls, spellcasting rolls, skill rolls and damage rolls from the character sheet.
• Enforces the "Ten dice rule" for rolls from the character sheet.
• Automatically calculates derived attributes such as initiative, Armor TN and rings.
• Automatically calculates the current would level based on the wounds suffered.
• A simplified sheet for npcs with rollable attacks, skills and damage.
• Use ctrl+click on rings and traits to automatically generate unskilled rolls (useful for unskilled void rolls).
• Stances and conditions selected from the token HUD now apply modifiers automatically!
• Select which dice to keep by right-clicking any roll chat card
• Contested and Cooperative rolls
• Maho rules — free raises paid in wounds, with special spell markers
• Fear mechanics for NPCs, clicking fear prompts PCs for a resistance roll and applies status automatically

• Compendium for the core rulebook (advantages, clans/families/schools, creatures, equipment, kata, skills, spells, techniques, NPC abilities)

Optional features (must be enabled in system settings)

• Use the modified Ten Dice Rule from Little Truths.
• Alternative layout for the pc sheet using tabs
• Calculate Insight Rank automatically
• Allow armor stacking Multiple pieces of "armor" can be stacked (to represent buffs, etc.)
• Change the wound multiplier used for a deadlier or more epic game
• Auto-apply damage to targeted or selected tokens
• Enable targeting for automatic TN calculation on attacks and spells

Installation

The recommended installation method is with the usual FoundryVTT installer (see the foundry tutorial). This system is listed as https://foundryvtt.com/packages/l5r4.
