The Mind Thresher is a 3-level 40x20 sentient spaceship, a nightmarish fusion of cosmic squid and viral abomination, lurking in the vast darkness of space. Resembling a monstrous crustacean, it latches onto vessels with its tendrils, piercing hulls and overriding systems with a viral infestation that spreads like wildfire. This bio-mechanical terror can only be controlled by humanoids infected with the same parasitic virus, their minds irreversibly tethered to its malevolent will. Driven by a primal hunger, the Mind Thresher roams the endless void, hunting for its next victim to assimilate, leaving only devastation in its wake—a dark predator of the cosmos.
Alien cockpit. Overtaken by the infestation, only a symbiotic hive-ling can control it.
Battery Cannons. This thing has some large devastating fusion cannons.
Mucus collection room. The symbiotic humanoid will take these canisters to similar vessels or to a black market to be sold for a high price. This volatile slurry is a key ingredient is some highly-sought after tech.
Feeding Room. Small numbers of captives from overtaken vessels are easily fed to the abomination in this chamber while larger groups are taken below to the feeding pool.
Feeding pool. Where captives are tortured and ultimately fed to the ship. Below the oily liquid are many maws and tentacles ready to drag unsuspecting Heroes to their untimely death.
Torture room. Symbiotic humanoids extract victims for 'parts' for its own sustenance or the black market.
Contra eye. No good monster-ship scenario is without the classic Contra-style eye. If you've ever played one of those classic shooters, you'd know that to kill the big-bad, you must inflict heavy damage to its 'core' or 'eye'.
Ship PNG: This map pack also comes with a PNG. This image can be placed atop of other battle maps to be used as a token when cruising the cosmos!
