Vision Edge Attenuation adds additional attenuation controls to token vision and light sources in Foundry VTT.
The module introduces an Edge Attenuation setting alongside Foundry's existing attenuation controls, allowing users to soften the hard boundary between visible space and darkness at the maximum vision range.
It also allows Edge Attenuation to be configured for light sources, creating smoother and more natural transitions at the outer boundary of emitted light.
The effect is purely visual and does not change vision distance, light range, wall occlusion, fog exploration, token perception, or game mechanics. Wall and door occlusion remain sharp while the outer vision and light boundaries can fade more naturally into darkness.
Edge Attenuation can be configured individually for each token and applicable light source. A value of 0 preserves Foundry's default rendering behavior.
The module is system-agnostic and intended to improve visual immersion without altering gameplay rules.
