• Grim. None dare approach the looming iron portcullis of this city, keeping outsiders from uncovering the corruption nestled deep within.

• Desert. A sight for sore eyes, this sandstone gatehouse offers a chance at finding a place to rest from the endless expanse of rolling dunes–as long as the guards feel generous enough to let you in.

• Winter. With all other roads snowed over, this humble town serves as a brief respite where travelers can stop for food and a warm bed until returning to their journeys.
