The night sky turned purple when the sphere first impacted, a smell like burning metal filling the air. Where the object struck, it cast up the ground violently and created a whorl of glass frozen in time. The rocky ground cracked asunder underneath the impact site, magma boiling up from below. The strange pitch black sphere warped the surrounding landscape, twisting it and turning the fire to an eerie, otherworldly hue.
