We’ve been hard at work preparing our latest tool designed to help the Foundry VTT community, and this time we’re going global!

We are proud to present the Foundry Hub Weblate website. A platform dedicated to helping both developers and users localize Foundry VTT modules and systems.

Any (free) package localization can be hosted on the Foundry Hub Weblate

Up until now, while some developers have been using their own localization software, most of the existing packages are either not localized or use flat
.json
files and a good pair of eyes to maintain their translation files.

With this initiative, we hope to encourage the community to improve package accessibility for non-English speakers.

Some key points:

We take care of the technical stuff; adding a new package on the Weblate server is trivial for the developers.

No need to know how to use Git or how to create Pull Request for the users who wish to help translate. Just use the website.

Thanks to our custom addon, users can add an entire new language to a project without any help from the developer. Weblate even edits the package manifest for them.

No risk to the package repository; changes are automatically sent as a Pull Request once every 24 hours.

Want some help from an AI? Machine translation suggestions from DeepL are available directly while translating a project.

If you are a bilingual player wondering how you can contribute to the community or a developer wishing to empower Foundry VTT players from all over the world, check the Foundry Hub Weblate!

As for every other project we maintain (this website, foundry.wiki, Weblate), server costs are covered by donations. If you like what we do, please consider donating to help us keep the lights on.

The new Journal v2 displays pages and how to navigate them

The largest feature of Journal v2 is the new User Interface (UI), which allows for multiple organized, searchable pages. So instead of having one long continuous Journal entry or trying to organize all your Journals in a complex folder structure, you can now have one Journal that acts almost like a book with multiple pages, page types, and navigation options.

On the left-hand side of the Journal, there is now a new collapsible navigation pane with a clickable and searchable table of contents. This table of contents lists all the different Pages within a Journal Entry and also has a list with header depths, showing Heading and Subheadings under each page as well. At the top of this panel, you can find an ‘Add Page’ button as well as a bar to search for specific words within the whole Journal. At the bottom, there are ‘Previous’ and ‘Next’ buttons if you want to feel like you are flipping through the pages of the ancient tome you just found.

Having multiple pages makes it far easier for GMs to organize Journal entries and make it easier for players to consume specific content. What’s more, you can granularly control the permissions of each Journal page so you can have hidden pages, ensuring certain pages are for a specific player or GM eyes only.

Top New Features

Let’s dive into the other important features that got added in this version.

That Affect GM Preparation

A handful of updates will make the GM’s work to prepare maps and adventures much easier.

A packaged Adventure will look like this after it’s created

Adventures – This almost made it in the Spotlight for me because I think it’s one of the best and most fleshed-out new features. But I think only GMs will find any excitement in this one, so I left it here. Adventures are a new type of Compendium that let you package up any collection of elements from your game world to export and share with others who can then import all those elements into their own game world. This makes sharing custom-made adventures way easier. Before, the best way to have a carefully selected amount of content packaged together was to export an entire World. However, using a new world doesn’t have the player characters, scenes, music, homebrew, or 75 modules you’ve already installed (everyone has that many right, it’s not just me?). Now you can use these Adventures to add packaged content to your very lived in existing World and smoothly transition your players into new adventures. The packaging even retains things like token and map pin placements (as long as you package the corresponding actors and journals).

Levels (lite) – I say lite because the dev team has created the framework for the future full implementation of ‘levels’. While the full levels system won’t come around until a future version, the framework itself allows for some really fun interactions. Essentially, the framework creates synthetic z-axis on the game canvas allowing token height to have a visual impact. Tokens at 0 or ground level go under tree and roof tiles, but if their ‘height’ is increased above 10ft or so, they will fly over the trees or run along the rooftops. It also has an impressive impact on tokens using Tremorsense, which can’t see tokens that aren’t actually on the ground.

At ground level, tokens go under overhead tiles while elevated tokens go over them.

On the left is the new torch light with an ‘exposed flame’ in the middle vs. the now renamed Flicker light on the right

Lighting

The “Torch” lighting animation has been improved and overhauled to provide a more realistic appearance of the exposed flame. The previous animation has been renamed to “Flicker”, and uses an improved noise generation algorithm, and its approach to coloration should result in a less “washed out” appearance.

The “Gradual Illumination” checkbox for Ambient Light and Token light source objects has been replaced with an “Attenuation” slider which allows for fine-grained control over the smoothness of transition between bright/dim/dark lighting regions. An Attenuation value of one produces the most dramatic and most gradual easing, while an Attenuation value of zero produces the most sharply differentiated appearance between lighting levels.

Other new lighting animation options include Force Grid, Vortex, Smoke Patch, and Starlight.

Audio/Video – The Audio-Video user interface has been redesigned to be a full-height sidebar panel on the left side of the interface which can be resized. Camera views of connected players are displayed in a grid layout and can be popped out to separate frames, giving a more aesthetically pleasing UI. There’s also nameplates that rotate between player name and character name, border frames colored based on player color, and even more.

Affecting Community Developers

There are so many Major changes, and a lot of the are Breaking Changes so for any developer I highly recommend checking out the Release Notes. However here are the big ones to keep in mind:

You can create custom Tours for your modules to guide people on how to implement and use your module

The Canvas changes for levels are something you can access on the back end to create new ways to interact with object height

Check out the v10 Migration Guide

Affecting those Learning the Program

These features are for any user (player or GM) that is trying to learn Foundry VTT or modules (for the module creators that leverage these features).

Tours – The Foundry VTT team has created a way for ‘Tours’ to be created that walk a user step-by-step through any aspect of the program to teach them how to use it. The settings now have a ‘Tour Management’ button where you can view and reset any tours you’ve already taken.

Tooltips – Tooltips have been improved to create a more cohesive experience that supports localization and also allows community developers to help their modules have unified tooltips with the Game System.

These features will help the world feel more alive and reactive, as well as help you spend less time arguing with other players about what everyone can and can’t see.

Hello everyone,

It was long overdue, but I’ve removed some dead sections from the website, namely the video section and the forum.

I’m not crossing the idea of these features forever, but until I find a sustainable solution, it’s better for the website’s health to remove them. It allows us to focus our efforts on the most active pages (package discovery and blog-like content) while having the time to host some cool community efforts like the League’s Package Jam.

The video section was not automated and was too cumbersome for the video makers to use. If I can find a way to get newly posted meaningful videos about Foundry automatically, I’ll add them back.

The forum never found its user critical mass. Between the Discord preferred by power users and the Reddit community well established for newcomers, there were just not enough people interested for the moment.

A huge thanks to anyone involved in the creation of these categories.

Please note the data is not lost. If you need to backup stuff from the forum, please send me a DM over Discord, and I’ll send you a copy of the data you need.

Foundry Hub will always be moving and changing to adapt to the Foundry VTT ecosystem. Our goal will always be to provide the missing pieces in our community, not to compete with the better alternatives.

Voting on Foundry Hub

This year we have a two-phase voting system.

First, a panel of volunteer judges will each nominate entries for consideration in each category. The top entries in each category will form the shortlist for that category!

Afterward, we’ll open the voting to anyone with a free Foundry Hub account. Each Foundry Hub member votes for up to three of the nominees in each category. The one with the most votes is the winner! Don’t forget the best overall package, which every package will be eligible for! If it’s your first time submitting a FVTT package, your package will automatically be nominated for the “first package” category.

Become a judge

If you aren’t able to participate by submitting a package, we will make a public call for volunteer judges in August, so make sure to join our Discord server and get the @league-announcements role to be notified for that. People entering into the Package jam are not eligible. Anyone who doesn’t complete their package in time for the jam may submit their interest as a judge instead.

Fine print: Official start time July 22, 2022 12:00 PM. Official end time August 22, 2022 12:00 PM. All submissions must be compatible with Foundry VTT V10, packages that the judges are unable to get running or test will be disqualified from nomination. Judge votes have equal weight. A developer can have a maximum of 2 packages nominated per category. If a category doesn’t get more than three nominees, that category will be removed. For the public voting phase, Foundry Hub user votes have equal weight and are not ranked. A user can cast a maximum of 3 votes. The package with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie for most votes, tied entries share the victory. The prize recipient will be decided according to a 1vs1 Fifth Edition Dungeons and Dragons Level 14 deathmatch adjudicated by an impartial dungeonmaster. No fudged rolls, all DM decisions final.

V9 Stable of Foundry VTT is here and it's major. In this article, we cover some of the new and updated features!

The stable release of Foundry VTT version 9 (V9) is here and it’s major, with a lot of changes – over 500 in fact, according to the official release notes.

If you want all the details, then head straight to the notes above, this update, and this video. See you in a few hours!

Or…if you’re looking for a summary, we’ve got you covered – we’ve spent a couple of weeks trying out V9 and will share some of the things that could help Game Masters (GMs) and Players get even more enjoyment from their games.

The Nine

1) You can improve the mood of your scenes without even trying.

In V9, light sources come out of the box with Adaptive Luminance (light looks different on top of different backgrounds) and Gradual Illumination (light tapers and fades naturally at the edges) enabled. Of course, things can be customized extensively, allowing the GM to realize their artistic vision.

“Oftentimes the quality of the light tells the story: the time of day, the weather, whether sun is streaming through the window. It can also help you appreciate what the actor is feeling, what the playwright wants you to feel. Any engineer can put a spot on someone.”

– Jules Fisher, Lighting Legend

Circles on the right show Adaptive Luminance and Gradual Illumination enabled (the new default).

2) You can enthrall your players with even more custom lighting animations and effects.

If you do want to go deep into lighting, there are five new native light animations for you to try, as well as sliders for Saturation, Contrast, Shadows, Color Intensity, Darkness Activation Range, and more. With these tools and a few minutes of work, you can spin up all kinds of weird and magical effects: create an eerie fog, a crazy spell effect, or a plunging vortex of infinite darkness!

Five new animations (seen along the top – Vortex, Bewitching Wave, Swirling Rainbow, Radial Rainbow, Fairy Light) bring the total to 17.

3) You can easily add dynamic audio sources to your maps.

When you place a dynamic audio source on the map, it triggers that audio when someone moves their token nearer to it. You can now upload the audio then drag it onto the canvas. Perfect for things like crackling fires, babbling brooks, or ghostly laughter. And traps.

4) You can manage your music more easily now.

Playlist re-ordering is now a core feature, meaning your music can be added, modified, and re-ordered in a much more streamlined way. Audio in general is also much more stable – you can play and stop sounds continuously without worrying about your game slowing down or freezing up.

5) You can sling playing cards around now.

Well, not literally, but they can be used in the form of decks, hands, and piles. This means real-world card games can be simulated, but will also be of great interest to GMs who want to integrate card decks from existing systems (with a bit of work). Since you can upload images for the cards, just about anything can be made into a deck – Pathfinder Crit/Fumble decks, spell decks, chase decks, background decks, NPC decks, you get the idea.

In Deadlands, this hand would generate…not very many Power Points

6) You can switch scenes but keep the combat rolling.

When you have players move from one scene to another (say an epic battle or a chase scene), the encounter in the combat tracker can now follow to the next scene. Whether moving from inside a tavern to outside in a big fight, or from a dungeon hallway and into a large chamber, this feature ensures a smooth transition.

7) T is for ‘target’…if you want.

Everyone can easily customize their own keybindings now. Choose your shortcuts to open the character sheet, target tokens, pause the game, measure things, and more. There are 58 actions you can map by default and more with modules. There’s even some support for gamepad controls for things like moving tokens around the canvas. For players who like customizing their action bars and GMs who like to optimize their setup processes, this is a big improvement.

8) You can cram more goodness into your game, for the same performance cost.

You would think all of the above makes the whole thing a bit more clunky right? Wrong. Actually, overall performance is improved due to a whole lot of technical things which have been optimized, including the way light is treated (canvas loads first, then light is applied) and the way compendiums are indexed (in short, all your stuff loads quicker now).

9) It’s easier to bring new players to the game.

The new performance mode suggests (and defaults to) settings based on a user’s computer. This is the kind of feature which might seem small, but it could reduce the amount of troubleshooting and tech support the Game Master needs to provide, which is mostly a good thing (unless you are one of those GMs who get a kick out of also being a technical legend).

Installing V9

Interested in trying these out? Before choosing to update, check if your existing game and modules are compatible with V9. It’s likely they are, or will be soon. Below is a summary of the module testing status.

A summary from the comprehensive module testing spreadsheet you can see here.

If you’ve made the choice to proceed, let us remind you of the most important thing to do when updating to a new version back up your data! It’s written in the release notes and repeated often, with good reason! Also, for V9 it’s strongly recommended to do a full reinstall of Foundry VTT.

For more support on the installation and configuration of your game, you can always refer to the official documentation, or feel free to join and ask your questions on the Foundry VTT Discord Server.

The Response so Far

V9 continues the Foundry VTT tradition of rapid, transparent, and incremental improvement. With some research, it’s possible to get a very deep understanding of the technical changes; and the feedback on these changes seems pretty positive, at least based on what we are seeing in Discord chat and Reddit.

There’s also a good response from the developer community, for example:

“In Foundry v9, the lighting system has received a much needed face-lift. It’s faster, more accurate, and extremely beautiful – the fact that lights manage to blend colors to a realistic standard is mind blowing for a 2D virtual tabletop; the shadows feel darker and lights have more oomph.

I’m running a Curse of Strahd campaign and as my players had returned to previously explored maps, I’ve managed to wow them with the improved lighting – they’ve even expressed wanting to go back even further just to see what’s changed. If this update hasn’t convinced you to get into Foundry, I don’t know what will!“
–Wasp, the creator of Fantasy Calendar and a developer with the League of Extraordinary Foundry VTT Developers

Though V9 is in its early days, and the Foundy VTT team deserves some rest, we asked them to comment on the overall feedback they’ve received so far and how they’re feeling about reaching this milestone. They graciously responded:

“We’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback about the new lighting engine, both from users as well as from content creators who are loving the power it gives them to create beautiful scenes. Many users are also really excited about card support, although we’ve also seen some fair criticism that the UI/UX for card support is a bit rudimentary. I think this is to be expected given the amount of underlying infrastructure we needed to do in order to provide a stable foundation for the cards API.

Overall, I think the feedback we’ve gotten is positive and that V9 is the most stable, feature-complete product we’ve created to date and we’re all looking forward to continuing to improve on it in V10.”
– Atropos, creator of Foundry VTT

By Paulcheeba

When using the Automated Animation (AA) module I noticed there were no hooks to bind the duration of the animations. I also noticed AA uses Sequencer to do the heavy lifting. So I went through the Sequencer Wiki on its Github and learned (pieced together) how to make a few macros for it. It is a versatile module and usable for many different applications. The main feature I am interested in is its ability to add the hook I need to link it to concentration, duration, and DAE so the hook can be automatically removed, removing the animation and effects as well.

With the following macros, I will automatically place an animated WebM video (or static webp image) asset on the scene and attach it to a token so it moves with the token. I will also set a rotating, growing intro and outro animation to the WebM video.

Originally, I animated a phasing and rotating spell effect in blender and output the video as webm so I would have this neat, animated aura effect on my token. I later learned that I can use Sequencer to, not only place and attach a video, but I can also place and attach an image instead and use Sequencer to animate it for me, adding rotation and a phasing effect IN FOUNDRY via a simple code addition to the macro. This saved me a lot of time but may have a slight impact on processing power.

Let’s get to it already!

For either method, you will create the spell item (or modify an existing one) in Foundry, give it a name and graphic, and edit the description and details tabs. Copy the SRD description from the original spell to this version, you want those sweet rollable dice buttons in the spell’s chat card details for later. The SRD versions typically apply damage on use and we don’t want that. What we want is to change the details to target self, not place a template, we don’t want saving throws and we want to use it as a utility with a duration (see notes below).

For this tutorial I assume you have the following modules installed:

Sequencer

Dynamic Active Effects

Active Aura’s

Midi-qol

TokenMagic FX

Times up

JB2A Animated Spells – free version at least for their amazing Spirit Guardians animations

Optional:

Combat Utility Belt – If you wish to add status effects to tokens in your aura range with Active Aura’s

Example Spirit Guardians Spell item settings

Dynamic Active Effects (DAE) set up

Once the spell is set up, we want to create a Dynamic Active Effect on it that will use macroExecute to run our macro that does all the coding magic. If you have Kandashi’s Active Auras installed we can even apply Active Effects to tokens that are within the aura’s range!

In the spell’s title bar click the DAE button

In the DAE WIndow click the “+” button

In this example, we have two effects: an Aura (this applies an Active Aura Effect, requiring the Active Auras Module), and an Effect (this runs the sequencer macro).

Notes

The sequence of events here is as follows:

Cast spell on self

Spell applies DAE on self and executes macroExecute and runs our -VFX macro and Active Aura and places a Status Marker on self

Macro pulls image from folder, animates an intro

Macro applies animation effect to static image or plays video on repeat

Insert Gameplay, Roleplaying and Active Aura magic here

Concentration or Duration ends removing DAE, Active Aura, Status Marker

Tells the macro to animate the outro

All traces of the spell effect are removed from the scene

All the above happens with one click of the spell.

If the spell has no Concentration or Duration, you need to remove the animation yourself by deleting the DAE that is applied to your caster.

If the spell has Duration only, you will need to wait for the duration to end or remove the animation yourself by deleting the DAE that is applied to your caster.

Of course, my file structure is different than yours, use your own file path to your video or image file.

Here is a link to the Sequencer Github Wiki for more sequencer settings and effects you can apply to your animations:
https://github.com/fantasycalendar/FoundryVTT-Sequencer/wiki

In this article, we'll be looking at the Cyberpunk Red Core system for Foundry VTT, brought to you by the CPR Dev Team.
Cyberpunk is a science fiction role-playing game created by Mike Pondsmith and R. Talsorian Games that incorporates dystopian elements of mega-corporations run rampant, food and supply shortages and collapsing government, while heavily investing in elements of human augmentation through the use of cyberware.
In this article, we’ll be looking at the Cyberpunk Red Core system for Foundry VTT, brought to you by the CPR Dev Team.

What is Cyberpunk?

Cyberpunk is a science-fiction role-playing game created by Mike Pondsmith and R. Talsorian Games that incorporates dystopian elements of mega-corporations run rampant, food and supply shortages and collapsing government, while heavily investing in elements of human augmentation through the use of cyberware. The focus is very much centered around ‘living on the edge’ but provides flexibility with character types that cover all sorts of play styles.

The most recent release in the Cyberpunk RPG series, Cyberpunk Red, takes you to the near future of 2045 where much of the world is recovering from the events of the mid-2020s. After malicious AI viruses destroyed much of the original concept of a connected Internet (or NET), people have transitioned back to local area networks to connect and communicate. Outside of major cities, caravans run by Nomads help keep supply lines running by land, air, and sea.

What are the basics?

Cyberpunk Red uses the “Interlock” system which primarily uses D10s for a combination of statistic + relevant skill + d10 to reach a pre-determined value or result.

These statistics include: Intelligence, Willpower, Cool, Empathy, Technique, Reflexes, Luck, Body, Dexterity, and Movement. Yes, COOL is stat!

Statistics are then tied with a combination of over 50 different skills to form a check, which you roll to beat a difficulty value (DV) or against an opponent’s opposing check. For example:

Max is armed with his shotgun and is engaged in combat with a ganger 15 metres/yards away, presenting a difficulty value (DV) of 20. Max combines his Reflex stat of 7 with a Shoulder Arms skill of 6 for a “base” of 13. On his turn, Max will roll a 1d10 plus his base of 13, to beat the 20 DV.

Cyberpunk Red also uses roles, which represent character classes in the game. There are 10 roles to choose from, which help represent a character’s background or upbringing and define abilities they have which they can use throughout gameplay. These are:

Rockerboys: Performers, musicians, writers or poets who inspire rebellion. They can use their charisma to inspire followers.

Solo: Weapons specialists, commonly operating as mercenaries or bodyguards. They have abilities to assist with combat.

Netrunners: Hackers of the dark future. They can gain access into local networks and use programs to modify, steal or destroy data.

Techs: All around mechanics and tool-smiths. They can make items as a part of their ability, or upgrade existing items.

Medtechs: Specialised surgeons or paramedics. Medtechs can use their ability to heal and produce medical supplies.

Media: As followers of the new NET, Media seek out truth or the latest trends. They can report on current events and stories, and seek out information from reliable sources.

Exec: Part of the big mega corps, they can hire and utilise employees to perform work for them.

Lawmen: Enforcers, police and sheriffs. When in trouble, they can use their ability to call for backup.

Fixers: The organisers and ‘who-to-know’ types. They know how to get access to goods on the street.

Nomads: The truckies and roadsters of the future. They can call upon their nomad clans for vehicles and upgrades.

How does it perform in Foundry?

An example of a player character sheet

With a team of a half-dozen frequent contributors, and many others providing input, feedback, and guidance, the Cyberpunk Red Core system has implemented almost all features needed to run a game.

There are separate actor sheets for characters, NPCs, program, and container types, and inspiration has been taken from the core rule book as much as possible to keep the theme consistent.

Measuring distances in grid maps speeds up combat

As the system makes use of a lot of ranged-based combat, the system supports quick-access rulers to check meter/yard distance and the applicable DV you need to meet.

The cyberpunk universe also focuses on the new NET and Netrunners, so functionality has been implemented to allow for the generation of scenes for Netrunners to be operational during gameplay.

An example of a generated NET architecture

The team has also worked in line with the system’s homebrew policy, which means that a number of compendium packs are included built-in with the system. For new game masters, this vastly speeds up the time to get an initial game up and running. Restrictions on the homebrew policy do mean that you need to create your own actors, such as characters and NPCs. Other than that, the process is fairly straightforward.

This was my entry into HTML and CSS along with PHP. Over time this eventually led into my overall career, with games being a hobby. I had been playing D&D in person with pen and paper for a few years but then Covid meant that we couldn’t meet up in person anymore, so had to look to online solutions. Eventually I made the switch to Foundry VTT and haven’t looked back. The level of customization and openness really appeals to me, especially with a programming background.

Blair: I GM D&D for a group each fortnight (when there’s enough of us available) in a fairly haphazard way due to the players’ constantly shifting availability. This means that we often stretch out one-shot style adventures and attempt to tie them together in a somewhat meaningful way – this is what lead me to creating the Scene Packer module. I was wanting to move my mini-adventures from my local dev machine onto my Foundry VTT instance to pull them into the world there. An “adventure module” was the way to do it, but my scene journal pins and actor tokens weren’t linked because the IDs changed. Thus, Scene Packer was born. I do get to play as a player every now and then but that’s far less often than when I’m GMing. I do enjoy building out a mini-adventure, trying out all of the various amazing modules that people create within the community and so it’s usually me who has yet-another-adventure ready to go. One of my players is willing to GM an Alien RPG campaign at some point and I am very keen to play that – I’ve been purposefully avoiding reading or looking at any of the content so as to not spoil any of it.

Blair: I can see the content ecosystem for Foundry VTT really exploding. With tools like my module generator and Scene Packer making it easier for non-developers to make modules, it’s just a matter of distribution. Currently to distribute your content you need to create a module that the end user installs and activates in their world. This is an easy step to do, but it’s still a required step. A lot of content creators currently release their content via Patreon, so I’m working with the developer of the Moulinette module to integrate Scene Packer. Moulinette is a way for end users to easily search, browse and follow their favorite Patreon creators and install content straight into their Foundry VTT world with no need to install custom modules for each adventure. I’m very excited about the amazing content that already gets built, let alone all of the amazing new content that will continue to be built for Foundry VTT.

Understanding Scene-Packer (A Layperson’s Guide)

To understand how scene packer works, we must first understand what information is natively stored in a scene in Foundry. Scene data includes walls, lights, ambient sounds, images, fog of war, and drawings. This information follows a scene from world to world without any issues.

But there are times when we wish to store additional information in a scene, like actors and journals, as one would find in a ready-to-go adventure. Once actors and journals on a scene are exported out of one world and into another, the links to the underlying data are lost. This is where scene packer comes to the rescue. Scene packer maintains the links in the ‘packed’ scenes to journals and actors in compendiums, allowing for a truly turn-key solution where anyone could create an ‘adventure’ and export it.

This is the intent of scene packer in a nutshell.

Now, Blair has gone one step further. With his module generator, you can actually create the necessary elements of a full adventure packaged up as a Foundry Module and available to download. A simple solution to a complex series of data packing challenges!

Blair’s Guide

Creating a Foundry VTT module can be quite daunting, time-consuming, and fiddly. I created a module generator to make it easier to get a module up and running quickly. Depending on your requirements, you may not even have to open a text editor.

Visit the generator, fill in the form and download your module zip with all of the values filled in.

The generator supports two modes:

Scene Packer integrated

This mode (listed as “new module” in the generator) creates a new module for you, with Scene Packer module functionality already integrated. This mode is particularly useful for content creators who have an adventure and want to make use of Scene Packer’s functionality, but don’t know any JavaScript or aren’t wanting to fiddle around in a text editor.

Standalone Module

This mode creates a module without any dependencies. You could use this to quickly create a Shared Compendium Module to share your actors/items/journals between worlds. Alternatively, this mode can be used as a starting point for any custom module you wanted to build.

Module generator: https://sneat.github.io/scene-packer-module-generator/
