The door squeaked as it opened. Stewart got inside ignoring the danger that was lurking in the shadows. As he set his foot in the room the attack begun. The beast pointed his sharp nails towards Stewart and with a quick jump it completed his attack. Warm blood started dripping from Stewart's right shoulder.
Daniel climbed down the stairs and with a glimpse of his eye he saw the train departing. Damn! That would be at least 10 minutes delay for his super important meeting. He bought a newspaper from the stand, left the briefcase by his feet and opened the paper while he was waiting for the train.
The boss entered in the office. Everybody pretended they were working. Laura recognised his stress and prepared him a coffee. The boss slammed the door after he entered in his private office. The paintings bounced in the wall. Jeffrey was sure this was a wrong time to ask for a raise...
Iä! Iä! What was that noise? He left his newspaper in the coffee table and took his glasses off. The wood inside the fireplace was crackling. He ran into the kitchen and grabbed a candle. Where was his lighter? He searched his pocket and discovered his metal lighter which he used to light the candle. The wooden boards were cracking as he moved toward the cellar. As he opened the door he heard a muffled weep. He started descending to the cellar...
He looked back and saw the black car following them. He turned up to the driver and said - "You really need to press your foot on that pedal". The driver nodded and shifted the gear. The car moved like crazy while overtaking all the other cars in the street. Suddenly a loud shattering noise rang out - the rear window was gone. "They are shooting at us - we need to move, now!". The driver had some more tricks up his sleeve. He slammed on the handbrake and the car started to slow. "What are you doing? Are you crazy?" - the passenger yelled. The driver began to laugh as he let go of the handbrake. The car drifted around the curb, and with a sudden change of course, they had lost their pursuers in the narrow streets of the city. "We are safe... For now..." - he said as he continued laughing like a maniac.
"Ey lad! You better control yourself. Enough with the effin' and blindin". The bartender seemed a bit annoyed with Sean. "Why don't you feck off lad!" - said Sean with his drunk voice. "You better stop acting the maggot, will ya?" - the bartender said as he served a glass of beer to Sean. "That's the last one for today, lad." Sean grabbed the glass and drank half of it in a single sip. "I'm off to the jacks" he said...
Bobby smashed the door, entered the restaurant and approached the concierge. He pulled the phone line and asked - "Where is the colonel?". The concierge mumbled few words before the bullet entered his skull. Bobby ran towards the tables holding his gun and yelled - "Where are you, you coward?". A "hero" stood up and blocked his way. This didn't end well for the poor guy as he ended up tasting his own blood on the floor. Bobby recognised colonel's wife as she was shaking under the table. He approached and asked one more time - "Where is the colonel?". He got no reply and she got a fast ticket to the other world. Bobby started searching the whole restaurant before entering the toilets. "I didn't expect to find you in women's bathroom..."
Nancy was sure that the killer bought the baguettes from the little bakery just around the corner. The one that is owned by that delightful old lady, Mrs. Stewart. The bakery just opened and the smell of fresh bread was filling the air. "Hello Mrs. Stewart! Have you seen a tall guy with a fat mustache?" - Nancy said. Mrs. Stewart already knew the answer of that question and that's why she grabbed the revolver he had hidden under the counter...
