Demo Performance Representative of Actual Use?

I tried the demo today and was very surprised that the best FPS I could get was 30, but it was usually 20 to 25. I was using Chrome on Razor15 Laptop (i7, 16 Meg, RTX 2060). Is the demo really representative of how gameplay will be even on a gaming rig?

We are currently using Roll20. We have two players in our group with non-gaming Intel PCs (one 4 years old; one 7 years old) and I am trying to get some idea how the experience would be for them if we shifted to Foundry.
